Not every soccer ball is directly suitable for changing the valve. You can easily change the valve on all Adidas balls from 2014. In older models, it depends on whether the valve is exposed or is located under the top layer of the ball.
Which balls are suitable directly?
You can change the valve on every ball where the valve is openly visible.
If you have such a ball, the valve change is done quickly. My record is 13 seconds! Here is the instructions for changing the valve.
Which balls are not suitable?
It becomes problematic when the valve is not openly visible, but only a small hole for the ball needle in the outer skin is visible.
In this case, the outer skin must be widened at the point so that the valve can be removed. To do this, I carefully removed the outer skin around the hole with a drill until the valve was exposed. It then has to look something like the picture above like the Adidas Torfabrik.
